No Red, No Green

Last week, I attended a holiday party and had a great time. The food was delicious, company was fun and the music kept me moving! While at the party, I spotted more than a few people wearing the typical holiday colors red/ green. There was a time, not too a long ago I would wear red or green to a holiday party but not anymore.

Yes, I know I wore “boring” black and white to the party but the colors aren’t considered holiday hues. I would encourage anyone to step outside the box (if you will), and wear something other than the usual to your next holiday celebration.

Below, check out details of what I wore. I had such a great time, I didn’t take any pictures. Oops!! This is the only one I have pictured alone, all the other pictures I’m with someone and having a “good time”. LOLholidayparty

Vest (black and white, faux fur): BCBGeneration

Bodysuit (white): Yummie by Heather Thomson (I purchased this bodysuit in both black and white. The quality is great for the cost, I definitely recommend this one. Check out the link below.)

Skirt (black, high waist, faux leather): Zara (This skirt was purchased early 2015. The one I have on is no longer available, but check out the link below for similar styles.)

What are your thoughts about wearing red or green to a holiday party? What do you plan to wear to the next holiday party you attend? Are there any colors you absolutely won’t wear to a holiday party? Do have a Style Jones for a particular color this holiday season? Share your thoughts.
